Hello,

I outlined my backup strategy in an earlier message, a copy of which can be
found at http://altdorf.ai.mit.edu/hypermail/thinkpad/2007-10/0209.html.

Only difference is now I'm using an Oyen Digital 2.5" SATA HDD enclosure
with eSATA, IEEE-1394b (FireWire 800) and USB 2.0 containing a 500GB
5400RPM hard disk drive.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

I am curious, how many ThinkPad users still use ThinkVantage's Rescue &
Recovery as their primary / only backup utility?

If not R&R, what is the most popular backup utility used by members of this
group?

For the R&R aficionados - is it possible to use an R&R backup to create a
bootable copy of the OS on a new HD? (Like a clone)

If so, how?
