Yes, it will work... at least on certain T-43 models. Rather slow, a big small, and very, very expensive per megabyte. But so far very reliable..
I don't know about the error that comes up on some T43 models, as mine is one without the error.. It would be interesting to know whether the hard drive error remains, would it not.
