I have my old T30 Thinkpad and dock connected to our home theater receiver, primarily for digitizing old LPs (and 78s!). I already have a nice USB audio card, and it occurs to me that a video card would allow me to view streaming video (such as the Digital Concert Hall).
I'm looking at a "SPARKLE SP94GT512D2LHPP 9400 GT 512MB GDDR2 PCI Silent Low Profile HDTV S-Video DVI Graphics Card" at Amazon but it's clear that the heat sink takes up space that may not be available in the 2631 Thinkpad Dock. Has anyone tried to fit such a card into that dock? Any experience will be welcome. And please suggest alternative cards if you have one that works in the dock. Thanks!
