Hi Everybody,
I'm new to the list and I have a problem with my Thinkpad(s). I recently
bought 2 used X31 from Ebay, both of them work really fine. But strangly
one of them seems not to be capable to charge the battery. I first
thought the battery was broken and exchanged the batteries between the
laptops but the other laptop can charge the "broken" battery and the
first laptop can use the charged battery as well but can't charge the
new battery either. This problem seems quite common on the web but there
is no solution available. I updated the BIOS and the ECP and I am
currently running Ubuntu 9.10 and Windows XP (Dual-boot) on the one that
isn't able to charge the battery.
