Okay, I exchanged the Power Bricks but nothing changed, one laptop
charges the battery just fine, the other refuses to do. I tried to
measure the current output but it is the same on both laptops. Another
thing that I have noticed is that when the "broken" laptop is running on
battery (charged by the other one) it shows that it is still connected
to AC Power and charging the battery, although the battery is getting
lower and finally the laptop is turning off.

Does it run OK off the power brick? If "yes", is this the same power
brick that you are using to charge the batteries on the other machine?

It runs okay off the power brick but I can't exchange them until
Friday. I will post about this then. Thanks for the tip until then.
