The 600 is an awesome little laptop.  I had a 600E for many, many years.
 Perfect form factor.  If the battery would have been functional and I
could have added a bit more memory I'd still be using it.  When I sold
it, it was still pretty much in like-new condition except for the
battery.  At almost 10 years old that is pretty amazing for a laptop.
