I'm looking for ideas to try on my T43 to remedy a display
oddity.

When I got the machine it would display a large image at
boot time of the boot options (I have several OSs); also
the "Drive 1 not ready" line would be displayed in large
type.

Then some months back both the above screen displays
changed to take a much smaller portion of the screen.
"Drive 1 not ready" line came to be displayed in very small
type. I lived with it since it did not affect the
functionality.

However yesterday I used for the first time in months
the graphic screen display function of an old DOS program
(WordStar) and the image is now quite tiny rather than
occupying the entire screen. It makes the function
unusable. I checked the WordStar configuration and the
misoperation is not a config issue. So I infer that
whatever changed the boot time display changed the WordStar
behavior as well. Since it happens before WXP boots,
I infer it must result from some changed setting on the
hardware itself.

I'd be much obliged for ideas about potential cures.
Thanks for all help.
