The screen expansion (or lack of) is happening *before* Windows boots, so it
can't be a device driver issue.

Jeff, hold down the F1 key when booting (when you see the message about the
ThinkVantage key) and go into the BIOS settings. In the Display section
there is an option labeled Screen Expansion or something like that. It
probably got turned off somehow. Turn it back on and it will be back the way
you're used to.
