Yes, I have 320MB RAM working in a TP240. The 256MB stick will have to be low-density. I don't know if just any PC100 low-density stick will work, but the one I'm using is a Samsung M464S3323CN0-L1L.

Hi

Im still on the hunt for a TP240X.

It has 64MB built in RAM and is listed as maxxing at 192MB meaning a 128MB
stick in the spare slot.

Ive read mixed reports about gettins extra RAM in it, some report hacking some
dont.

Am I right in thinking a low density PC100 stick of 256MB would work, coupled
with the 64MB on board to make 320MB?

I love the size of these little beasts. I already have XP and Linux Mint LXDE
installed on a hard drive which has transported from machine to machine which
should get me over the installing without CD drive problem.

A P3 500mhz with 320MB RAM 240X should be a big improvement over my P2 366mhz
with 296MB RAM 600E.

PS. Doesnt look like I will be leaving you. The Umax and I didnt get on.
