It's unusual for a bad pixel to be black, since it's generally individual
subpixels that go bad. The visual effect of that is that one color component
(red, green, or blue) will be stuck on or off. Since it's black, and not
yellow, magenta, or cyan, I'm inclined to think it's a spec of dust inside
the display.

Look at it under a microscope. See if it is in front of, at the same level
as, or behind the image on screen. I have an old T23 with a dead ant or two
on the display.
