Seriously guys...I think I'm going to cry. :'(

I have an X201 Tablet, and its a wonderful computer. But it ain't no X301.
And I am a long-time user of the older "T" series--those are great computers
too--but again, they ain't not X301. The weight & thinness, for the X30x
machines was just unbeatable. Nothing like it--not too big in the other
dimensions, unbeatably thin in the other, all while not being too small
too--and all without giving up function. Plug in the 6-cell battery and a
battery into the optical bay and boom--you had a laptop that pretty much
lasted all day on a charge too. And again, still very lightweight.

I'll look at the T410s, but its hard for me to imagine it being a suitable
replacement. I really don't want an optical drive--I've found I almost never
use one, and when I do, a $40 USB-based external works just great.

Here's a question for you T410 aficionados: I understand its some kind of a
touch screen? Is it a full-on touch-screen like you could take a pen and draw
on the screen? (I realize it doesn't fold like a tablet.) The reason I ask
is I have an application where I'd like to use it as a computer where I hook
up with people via GoToMeeting and show them things on my screen, and it helps
to be able to draw and point & etc. Much easier to do that with a
touch-sensitive screen. (That's why I got the X201 tablet--but other than
that one use, I prefer the X301 for everything else).

So can anyone tell me the extent of the T410(s?) touch screen capabilities?

Thanks!
Randy
