Moneywise you're better off buying with as little RAM as possible and
adding RAM yourself later on.

generous definition of full-size that cheats a little?
Yes, the X2nn keywords are really full-size. Actually these machines
are about as wide as a 14" T60, which is why they can accommodate
a full-size keyboard.

one is discrete and the other shared. Is the NVIDIA worth the extra
cost for non-graphics applications?
I stay away from Nvidia because of their lack of support for Free Software.
Last I checked, the discrete graphics also consumed more power, hence
leading to more heat, more noise, and less autonomy.

To amplify this: Nvidia is downright open-source hostile, and will
not release any specifications on their cards, to the best of my
knowledge. This means that X (the base windowing system that
most all open source OSs use) has inferior drivers for these cards.
That there is an "nv" driver for X at all speaks a lot for the dedicated
and talented folks at x.org who've been in reverse engineering mode
and have gotten some number of cards to work.

If you are going to use Windows only, this isn't a problem, but if
you've thought about running something else, consider this.
