fwiw, EasyServ received my X220 June 9 -- it's now June 21 and it's
still sitting there, apparently they have no replacement screens.

I've been following this forum thread, and more people keep joining
with the same problem:

It's still not clear to me whether all X220 IPS displays have this
problem (and perhaps not everybody notices/cares) or if there is
variation in display performance.
