My T43 detects four networks, one ours and three of the neighbors', using IBM Access Connections. Wife's Acer also running WXP used to see them also but now sees only "Free Public Wifi" which in fact is not there.
It sounds like a hard failure but System/Hardware/ Properties says the Atheros card is working normally. Are there some kinds of test I can perform to further diagnose before taking hers back to the Acer shop?
