I just ran the manual BIOS update utility and if allows me to click
"clear" on the model number but it would not allow me to enter anything.
And I do not find any documentation for that part of the utility.

That is solved. there is an BIOS option to hide the WLAN. I dunno why the
seller had that one set but all is now okay here.

Anyone able to help with wrong model number in XP registry and Error 75?
