Your T60 can run a much higher resolution *on an external monitor*. If you try to set your LCD to a higher resolution, you will simply get a 1024x768 "window" into a larger virtual screen.

Thanks for the information i have found a refurb t60 at 15" but its native resolution is 1024 x 768 ( XGA )

Does the gfx chipset allow a greater resolution?
If it does will it look a bit poor since its not its native setting?

thanks

Hello,

I have found the archives but they seem to be just downloadable month by month.

Is there a way to search through them all apart from downloading
every last one of
them?

I am looking for a post of mine asking about the last 4:3 screen
Thinkpad but it
seems i cannot find it within my own emails.

thanks for your time

Martin N
