FWIW I don't like the usual blinking behavior.  There are 4 states I'm
interested in, w.r.t wifi:
0- off.
1- trying to connect.
2- connected without any activity.
3- sending/receiving.

Actually 1 could be subdivided into trying to find a network, trying to
associate/authenticate with a network, trying to get an IP, but for
a single LED with a single color, I guess I'll have to accept to lump it
all into a single state.

On my machine, the LED seems to be blinking indistinguishably in state2
1, 2 and 3, whereas I'd like state 2 to be "solid on", state 1 be
"normal blinking" and state 3 be "fast blinking".
