By any chance, do you know which position (vertical or horizontal) the key
switch should be in, in order for it to be in the locked state? It's vertical
at the moment. ++++++++++++ I use a mini-dock routinely at home and work for my
T60, so can say with assurance that for the T60 at least vertical is the locked
position, and that's consistent with your current quandry. It turns 90 degrees
CCW to unlock. Locksmith sounds like the idea with likely the least collateral
damage.
