Most of the HD manufacturers offer some version of the above for free (under
their own name) for cloning to one of their drives. For example, if you are
cloning to a WD disk, you can download "Acronis True Image WD edition" from
the WD site, install it on your old system (as long as the WD disk is
attached), and clone using it.
The new hard drive is a Toshiba but i cant find Acronis or similar on their
website. The only downloads i can find are for Toshiba laptops.
Do you know if they happen to provide an imaging tool?
Since they dont manufacturer desktop hard drives,
