Hello,

Have you tried disabling power management on the wireless network
adapter? Steps are something along the lines of:

1. Open Device Manager (filename: DEVMGMT.MSC)
2. Scroll down to 'Network Adapters' section and locate entry for
    for the wireless network adapter.
3. Double-click on it to open the wireless network adapter's
    Properties pane.
4. In the Properties pane, click on the 'Power Management' tab.
5. Uncheck the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to
    save power' option.

Save settings (I don't recall if a reboot is required), and see if
that makes any difference in the behavior of the network connection.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

Have a weird wireless problem which I think is a FiOS problem but wondering if anyone else has seen it and it is a Lenovo wireless problem instead.

T510 running Windows 7 Pro. It loses its Internet connection but says it is still connected to the wireless (either using Access Connections or Windows Wireless). Yet if I try and do an ipconfig release and then renew it says no actions can be taken while media is disconnected which implies it is not wirelessly connected. We've replaced the Verizon router and today the ONT brain in the fiber interface. Still have the problem.

Anyone else have this problem or seen anything like it. My next step is to see if Lenovo will replace the wireless card in case that's the problem (is that considered a user replaceable part by Lenovo or must the system be shipped in?).
