This is a former boot drive for my T60 (which has to have the motherboard replaced). It is bootable in a T60 - do you mean that something else has to be done to it to make it bootable in a USB housing?
This drive (320 GB Caviar Blue) has fingerprint reader software installed and active - could that prevent it from booting?
