I have a ThinkPad T60 and would like to replace the drive with a new 500Gig drive. What is the best way to do this? I have the 5 cd disks to restore the laptop to factory condition. Using these disks, will that initialize the new drive? I also cloned the old c:\ partition with Acronis. Would it be better to restore the old c:\ drive to the new drive and would that initilize the new drive?
