BTW, if you're using XP, the restore set is 6CDs + Rescue& Recovery CD + optional Supplemental R&R CD. Make sure that you've got all of this lined up before proceeding. What is the best way to do this? I have the 5 cd disks to restore the laptop to factory condition. Using these disks, will that initialize the new drive? I also cloned the old c:\ partition with Acronis. Would it be better to restore the old c:\ drive to the new drive and would that initilize the new drive? jozien _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
