You might be interested in THRIFT-71. We (Fluidinfo) are also providing Ubuntu
packages through our PPAs:
https://launchpad.net/~txamqpteam/+archive/ppa (stable)
https://launchpad.net/~esteve-fernandez/+archive/ppa (experimental features)
Some packages are being built for Hardy and Intrepid right now, but will become
available in ~30 minutes.
