Perl and Python people, I've got failures in the tests on trunk, which
makes it tougher for me to validate this stuff before I push. Could
someone take a look? THRIFT-355 and THRIFT-356.
And just to keep the tally:
Committed since the last post:
* THRIFT-265 (Buffer bloat in TNonblockingServer - C++) [Erik Frey]
* THRIFT-353 (Service capitalization - Ruby) [Gary Tsang]
* THRIFT-352 (Enum validation - Ruby) [Gary Tsang]
Discussion is happening on:
[Python]
* THRIFT-301 (Add a create() class method for factory-like instantiation)
* THRIFT-105 (make a thrift_spec for a structures with negative tags)
and the related THRIFT-339 (THRIFT-242 is incompatible with
arguments with empty key fields)
Esteve and Alexander are making updates here, so if you've got
ideas/issues please post.
* THRIFT-162 (Thrift structures are unhashable, preventing them from
being used as set elements)
This one had lots of traffic but seems to have died down. Let's try
to get some consensus.
[C++]
* THRIFT-351 (ThreadedServer lacks of options for thread factory)
* THRIFT-72 ( C++ structure constructor )
* THRIFT-311 ( ASIO client & server )
This one has patches and discussion, and might be ready for
commit. Someone let me know. Let's see some +1s, or suggestions.
Waiting on last objections to THRIFT-96 (TSocket.peek fails on FreeBSD
- C++) before committing. Please take a look if you haven't.
