You can just run an rsync and then cron job it:
rsync -rtzlhp --delete neuro.debian.net::neurodebian <DESTINATION DIR>

NeuroDebian just rely on cron job rsync's, no push notification etc
since archive is not updated that quickly/often. We also do not collect
checksums and rely on rsync to do the job right. The only thing for
monitoring is a timestamp file which then allows us to have
http://neuro.debian.net/mirrors_status.html#chap-mirrors-stats

and notifications when mirror gets stale.
One thing is to make apache logs available so
NeuroDebian could use them for stats such as
http://neuro.debian.net/_files/nd-worldmap-201106_15dpi.png

Do you think it would be possible to arrange?
