I hope someone can help you, because I've got the same problem running
the Webmail / Webmail-Hotmail extensions in Thunderbird 2.0.0.17 under
Ubuntu 8.04.1.
I have a for-pay Hotmail account that I have ALWAYS accessed through e-
mail clients.
In addition to having lost the ability to use Thunderbird for getting
my mail, I am also seeing the "upgrade your browser" message from
Hotmail when I use Firefox 3.03 to log on to my account.
I'm pretty danged sure the issue is caused by a change they've made at
Hotmail.
