Hey guys I started getting the "negative vibes" message about a week ago and was really stuck until browsing through these groups. The solution for me involved the following,
1. logging into the hotmail account with a web browser so that the "introduction to new hotmail" page shows. Select "do not show again". 2. delete or move as many emails from your inbox as possible. in another thread I believe ~25 was the maximum you should have in there for webmail/hotmail to work. 3. upgrade to hotmail-1-2-19b43.zip and then restart thunderbird. You may be prompted to enter your login details again.
