Since downloading version 1-2-19b44 and checking the new box that says 'don't show me the welcome screen again" I can now download from 3 different hotmail accounts :-)
I cannot send by localhost though and don't want to send via the gmail smtp because the emails then show that I sent from that account. I have a dedicated profile for my hotmail accounts but another profile is used for downloading Yahoo using y-Pops. I have tried a few localhost variations in my 'hotmail' profile but some of them give me a message from Yahoo saying 'no can do' or words to that effect. Anyone have any ideas what I should enter to get the smtp working again? thanks, Mike On Nov 4, 11:01 pm, Neil <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Thanks. > > Even though I had downloaded and added-on hotmail-1-2-19b43.zip, I had > to : > "log into the hotmail account with a web browser so that the > 'introduction to new hotmail' page shows.".
