tbird SOMETIMES refuse to download my attachment properly.
i get to many messages to leave the the log file on

here what you do when you get a bad download move the email to a
separate  folder on the yahoo website
when you get 5 of these in a box turn on your log file and download
them via tbird
next send the log to web author

this way he can look for consistency between attachments
