Donnerpost,

As it turns out I didn't need to setup a new profile or wipe out
everything and start over.

With a little prompting from Andrew, I figured out where I screwed up
in the configuring of the Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings. I had left
the default "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" setting instead of putting in my real
Hotmail address.

It was one of those "DUH!" moments as you could guess.

But I thank you for your ideas.
