I have a Hotmail account that works with DAV (so far), and a Yahoo!
free account (in the US).

I set up Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 with WebMail 1.3.2, Hotmail 1.2.19, and
Yahoo 1.3.4. Hotmail (not using DAV) works (as far as yet tested), but
Yahoo gives me an error message: "Sending of password did not succeed.
Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: pop not allowed for user."

Apparently I have the Yahoo extension configured for POP? How do I set
it for Web-based?

(Under Tools>Add-ons>WebMail-Yahoo Options>Yahoo Options, I have:
Mode=Beta Website (it was on Production, and I also tried New
Classic).
POP: Only "Mark emails as read..." is checked, no folders listed.
Advanced: Use Short ID is checked.

Under [EMAIL PROTECTED], Settings:
Acct name includes @yahoo.com
Name and edress entered
Outgoing server=Webmail - localhost (Default)
Server Settings:
servername=pop.mail.yahoo.com
port=110
username incl @yahoo.com
[omitting other settings, as irrelevant until I can connect]

I tried changing server to localhost:
After request for password, got error: "Sending of password did not
succeed. Mail server localhost responded: negative vibes
from [EMAIL PROTECTED]"

So can this extension be used to access Yahoo! Free/US mail? And if
so, how?
