I am getting this error: "mail server localhost responded: transparent proxying not configured: set secure server/port"
Using thunderbird portable 2.0.0.19 with latest webmail 1.3.2/hotmail 1.2.19 extensions, Norton corporate antivirus 10.1.1.5 with updated virus defs/ and symantec client firewall 8.7.4.97 on win2k with latest service pak 4. This configuration worked well until a couple of days ago (although for some reason it used to forget the password, minor inconvenience). It is now feb 3,2009. I have tried switching the Hotmail option from "webdav", to the other options, "hotmail live" or "older hotmail", neither worked, same error. Does anyone know of any new changes that Microsoft might have made that might have interfered with this extension, or any troubleshooting ideas I might try? I am not aware of any updates that occured on computer that might have been added. Sincerely, and thanks in advance for your help!
