I am trying to use the "webmail" extension to access an hotmail account. I repeatedly get the message "localhost timed out" or a reasonable facsimile. I am set to port 110, I tried port 1100 (as suggested in another thread from last year) but then the connection is refused. My setting for time out is 300sec. but it really times out before 5 minutes (about 2 minutes)
The error log entry = Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80550006 [nsIMsgFolder.getMsgDatabase]" nsresult: "0x80550006 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/mailWidgets.xml :: parseFolder :: line 2061" data: no] -- or the same except the failure code = 0x80550005. Most recent "error console" message = Hotmail-SR-BETA: serverComms : Exception : NS_BASE_STREAM_CLOSED.
