Absolutely nothing.  There has been no change to my Hotmail account
from when I installed Thunderbird to when this started happening.

It seems the issue was related to the addon's settings; it was set to
Hotmail Live instead of WebDev.  After switching it back, the problem
has not yet occurred.  (And if that turns out to be the fix, I'm going
to feel embarrassed).
