Is this the problem due to Yahoo randomly changing some ID number in the
web page? If so, the Webmail Author is working on it. Meantime the work
round is to try again when the log in fails. I sometimes get the
"Sending of password failed" message when starting Thunderbird for the
first time in the morning. Simply ticking the "Remember this password"
box and retrying with the same saved password works for me. The message
never reappears then unless I restart Thunderbird.
