I have 5 mail box accounts: 1 hotmail, 2 g mail and 2 yahoo.For
several months now, but not for years before, I usually get a negative
vibes message for one of the yahoo boxes and less frequently both. In
regard to the most frrequent negative vibes box, persistent attempts
to check it from the drop down menu in the get mail button usually
seem to succeed after about 3 attempts. I use the similarly
functioning 'webmail notifier' add on in Firefox and never have a
problem with it checking all 5 boxes. If this is not too naive( I have
no coding knowledge at all) perhaps you could look at the Fx add on
code and see if any reason for the different outcome from this TBird
add on is suggested to you. It seems likely that the problem is caused
by yahoo, but 'webmail notifier' seems to be able to query both
accounts while 'webmail' gets negative vibes and I hope however it
satisifies yahoo is available for you to use for your add on. thanks
for your work..
