The PDF is a little out of date, Hotmail no longer uses Webdav, and there is now only the one web site, so there is only the one default option available for "Mode". Therefore the options to select Webdav or anything else have been removed from the current version. As for the hanging on message 1, is this a message with a large attachment? This could be the cause.
