I do need to need to note in response that it is not happening with my
antivirus (avast) for my multiple Yahoo accounts and it is not
happening for any of the folks I support with their Yahoo accounts
(and - no surprise - they all use avast too).  It is happening with
your account on whatever system you use - and the systems you use have
the same antivirus.  I will leave the deductions to you.

Please try the option to exclude your mailfile form the antivirus scan
and see if that helps you come closer to a decision in problem
isolation.
