Running TB3.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 Intel. I upgraded to webmail 1.3.4 after the TB upgrade, then saw TWO webmail accounts in the sidebar instead of the one Yahoo one. I think this could be something leftover from the Gmail WM plugin I used years ago.
So I backed up, then deleted the 'extra' account leaving the account holding my Yahoo emails intact. But when I tried to get messages it said it couldn't connect to the server for "[email protected]". I thought the two accounts somehow got mixed up so I deleted the remaining webmail account. Then I uninstalled the WM + Yahoo extensions and reinstalled them. Next I went into account settings and added 'Other' and selected Webmail. It prompted me for the name and email address with the default of "[email protected]". Why its saying Tripod I don't know. So I change it to a correct yahoo address and let it create the account. But the account does not show up in the All Folders sidebar. So I exit TB and run it again, and it shows a new account called "myusername on localhost" and TB reports it can't connect to the server. There seems no way to get a proper webmail account setup now. If I go into Yahoo - Webmail extension properties it says "No Yahoo Accounts Found". I also tried uninstalling the extensions and removing all webmail- related prefs.js settings and folders in my profile folder, then reinstalling the extensions but it still acts exactly the same. I remembered there was also the issue of default low port numbers not working, so I changed the port number in the account settings and the port number in the webmail extention prefs to a number over 1024... Still doesn't work (timeout). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thunderbird Webmail Extension" group.
