OK, but... the second screen asks for email address with 'for example,
"[email protected]"' and the third screen asks for username with 'for
example, "jsmith"'. That latter one is confusing.

So I created a WM Yahoo account again (with usern...@domain) and its
still acting strange. Nothing appears in the left pane of the account
settings window, nor does anything show in the All Folders view. When
I exit and reload TB, it shows a new account for "[email protected]
on localhost" and TB says it cannot connect. The account settings for
this show Your Name and the other fields as blank. Under server
settings, its set to localhost port 110 and the username is filled in.

After filling in the correct port number, name and email address I can
connect, but it quit part way through the download with a "negative
vibes" error.

I still don't know why upgrading TB caused an old deleted Gmail
account to appear, but don't know if that matters.
