Jpk4077 has emailed me direct in response to my comments. It appears that he is
using MAC OSX. I recall that there have been problems with MAC systems
unzipping the xpi file as well as the container zip file. The answer is to use
the MAC OS command line interface to just unzip the container file. Not being a
MAC user I don't have details, perhaps someone could point Jpk4077 in the right
direction?

Unfortunately some of the mirror servers give errors in downloading
the files. The result is that the downloaded file (which appears to
be the real add-on file) simply contains the error message about
failing to download. If so it will be a very small file of a few Kb.
The real add-on files are typically 100-200 Kb in size. If you get a
really small file then just download again and hopefully you will get
a working well mirror server.

Actually, I just downloaded the file in question, and Windows XP has no
problem opening the zip and showing an xpi file inside. If you've
downloaded the file and cannot open it, but can open other zip files, it
may be that your download is somehow corrupted. Try downloading again.
