I'm using Thunderbird 3.1 on OSX 10.5.8, trying to set up a yahoo account. I have Webmail 1.3.7 and Yahoo 1.4.7 extensions installed. The status for the enabled servers is "running". The necessary domain handlers are installed.
POP ACCOUNT CREATION Here is where I run into trouble. From here out, the instructions and pictures don't match what I'm looking at at all. To nitpick, from step one, there is no "From the main menu select File->New->Account". The options are File->New->Mail Account or File->New->Other Accounts. >From there, the instructions and reality diverge farther and farther apart. I tried several times in various ways to create a yahoo account, but failed every time. Please direct me toward some accurate setup instructions. Thank you very much for creating this piece of work for the benefit of all of us.
