Make sure that your security setting for the Yahoo account is set to "none".
If you have a very large Inbox in Yahoo to start off with then you really need to move the messages to a custom folder and then move them in batches back to the Inbox, download the latest batch and then move a new batch. Keeping thousands of messages in the Inbox really places a great burden on this extension and is not a great idea (for this extension or for anyone who uses a true pop access method - pop was never designed for a large Inbox).
