Hi...
I downloaded the newer Hotmail extension maybe an hour ago, and unzipped
with 7zip to desktop.
I opened the Addon Extensions tab, dragged the file onto the folder.
I Got an error sayin wrong type.
That might have been when I Dragged from the still Zipped Folder.
I Used the Install button on extension to brows to the unzipped file,
and it loaded. and installed.
I Went to Live and Set for Live to display the Inbox on opening, and
logged out of Live.
Yesterday when the Hotmail started playing up, It Had Gave the Error
That the PassWord Was wrong, I Think?, and then Popped up an option to
say "Reenter Passord or Try again. When This Started, it happened
immediately seconds after Thundervird did an auto update on start up. If
I Had not allowed, would likely to have still workerd, maybe, for a bit.
Today, after the Update and setting start up to show in box, my Next
Errors were
RETR Commands Did Not Succed - Negative Vibes Hotmail
I Then Went Online and looked there were 5 EMails in the Junk/spam Folder,
4 of them were important and Hotmail had Stuck them in Junk Folder.
I Selected the 4 items, selected Mark Not Junk.
After a Few Moments, had a n error message on the Hotmail site saying
network error.
The Error Said The Error has nothing to do with the Computer, but to do
with their network, and to try move the non-junk emails out of the Junk
Folders at another time.
I Tried one at a time and and all but one worked, and after trying the
last one several times, it appears to have worked. as Junk is empty. and
I deleted the trash.
I Then Tried Again, and this time,
The Bottom Said "Downloading Mail 1 of 35", and I Got Excited, But
The error came up this time:-
RETR Commands Did Not Succed _ Error Retrieving a message - Negative
Vibes Hotmail, like an email was stuck.
I went online, and deleted the next email that was unread, hoping that
might work,
But Still got the same error

I Have run out of time for now but put this togetrher for you to look at..
I am off out for an hour or 2 and away from computer, but have 5 email
accounts coming to my Palm Pre Smartphone...

FOR EVERYONE ELSE>>, the update works, but you first need to change
the Windows Live settings to make the Hotmail Inbox the homepage when
you sign in. Once you do this, the new update will work. (The old
update will also work after making this change, but it will download
multiple copies of the same message).
1. In hotmail (top right side of page), choose>Options>more options
2. On the left side of the page under "Show options for", choose
"Windows Live".
3. Under "Home", choose "Customize Windows Live Home".
4. Check "show me my inbox when I sign in".
5. Click on "Save".
Now the updated extension should work (except for the problem I'm
having with the Junk Mail folder).
