However, Thunderbird would be severely crippled, if you use it to access your Hotmail using POP/SMTP. DO NOT USE POP/SMTP to Access your Hotmail, as You Will NOT Have Access to Any Of Your Folders, including In and Out and Spam/Junk.
Such a Waste, and would Bypass this Webmail Extension.
Use POP on Hotmail on your Smartphones, and, maybe on a Backup application like Opera Mail, but Be sure to set Opera Mail LEAVE MAIL AS UNREAD and NOT TO DELETE Hotmail emails When Deleting in OPERA.
