The getmessagesource issue seems rather unusual. Clearly it is a problem for some users. I have just checked all 5 of my Hotmail accounts and View Message Source is not a problem for any of them. If it were a generic problem with this set of Hotmail changes we all should be affected.
It is clearly not the intent of MS to remove the function - hopefully they will quickly diagnose the problem for the accounts that are experiencing the problem.
