When I download http://downloads.mozdev.org/webmail/web-mail-1-3-10.xpi
, I get the following text file:
--- begin ---
<?php
/**
 * Displays project downloads
 *
 * @package Mozdev
 * @version $Id$
 */

$GLOBALS['project'] = 'www';
$GLOBALS['page'] = 'index.html';

require_once 'include/globals.h';
require 'include/mirrors.php';
--- end ---

I downloaded this using Firefox 3.6.10, so I don't think that it's an
artifact of using Thunderbird 2.
