I would guess that you are correct, old versions of the extensions
cannot connect due to the changes made by Yahoo!.
I would also think it unlikely that new versions compatible with an
obsolete version of Thunderbird will be produced. Why are you stuck with
Thunderbird 2.0, can you not upgrade? If you must stay with 2.0, could
you use the free POP access that Yahoo! provides instead of the extensions?

POP and STMP servers not connecting to yahoo.com.
Went to check for new versions of webmail and webmail-yahoo. Two on
the site, listed as being for Thunderbird 2.0. So I downloaded them.
deleted the old versions, and tried to install the new versions, only
to discover that they are for Thunderbird 5.0 ONLY.
Why would you post versions that are for Thunderbird 5.0 and state
that they are for 2.0? Not amusing.
So I chased around and found the xpi files for webmail 1-3-1 and Yahoo
1-4-7 and reinstalled them. Still unable to connect to the servers.
Is this due to the new Yahoo version? Will you be upgrading the
webmail and yahoo extensions so they are once again compatible with
the 2.0 Thunderbird?
