The solution that resolved the issue for me: *Edit --> Preferences --> Security tab --> uncheck Accept Cookies*... or if you need to accept cookies in your T-bird as I do, you can just *add*"yahoo.com" as a *blocked* domain in the exceptions list. Regards, ~Eric
